As the soybean growing season enters its final stages, growers continue to face challenges that can affect crop performance and harvest results. To help address these issues, Science for Success has announced its 2026 national webinar focused on late-season soybean management.
The webinar will feature soybean researchers from across the United States who will share practical recommendations for managing common late-season production challenges. Participants will gain research-based insights to help protect yield potential and improve harvest outcomes.
The expert panel includes Rachel Vann of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Justin Calhoun of Mississippi State University, Seth Naeve of the University of Minnesota, and Christy Sprague of Michigan State University. Their discussion will cover key management considerations as soybeans approach maturity.
Attendees will also receive updates on collaborative research examining soybean desiccation and harvest timing. Research presentations will be delivered by Mark Kendall of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Prabath Senanayaka Mudiyanselage of The Ohio State University.
The virtual event will run for approximately one hour, with much of the session dedicated to audience questions and discussion. Participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with researchers and receive answers to specific production concerns.
Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs) who attend can earn 0.5 Crop Management CEUs and 0.5 Integrated Pest Management CEUs. Organizers encourage soybean growers, crop advisers, and agricultural professionals to participate and learn about the latest research supporting successful harvest management.
