US Vietnam Trade Grows Through Food Campaign

US Vietnam Trade Grows Through Food Campaign

By Jamie Martin

Vietnamese consumers are gaining increased access to American agricultural products through a new nationwide promotion developed by MM Mega Market Vietnam in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam.

The campaign runs from July 9 through July 22 and is being hosted at 11 MM Mega Market distribution centers across the country. The program features more than 250 products supplied by 14 U.S. agricultural organizations representing several food sectors.

Featured products include beef, pork, poultry, potatoes, fresh fruits and vegetables, processed foods, beverages, cereals, nuts, condiments, and confectionery products. Organizers say the initiative helps connect consumers with reliable, high-quality food options while supporting international agricultural trade.

The campaign also highlights the long-standing agricultural relationship between the United States and Vietnam. Industry representatives noted that demand for American food products continues to grow in the Vietnamese market, creating opportunities for exporters and businesses on both sides.

To engage consumers, the promotion includes food sampling activities, chef-led cooking demonstrations, brand showcases, entertainment programs, and special discounts on selected products. These activities are intended to educate shoppers about American food products and encourage product discovery.

“MM Mega Market Vietnam consistently regards the expansion of our cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture and our U.S. counterparts as a core component of our long-term corporate strategy,” said Nguyen Duc Toan, Managing Director of MM Mega Market Vietnam.

He added, “By leveraging our robust nationwide distribution infrastructure, we aspire to serve as a vital conduit, bringing an increasingly diverse selection of world-class U.S. agricultural and food products to Vietnamese consumers, while simultaneously fostering the bilateral commercial and agricultural synergies between our two nations.”

All participating products come from certified suppliers and move through carefully managed supply chains that focus on quality assurance and food safety. The program serves both individual consumers and hospitality businesses such as hotels, restaurants, and catering operators.

MM Mega Market Vietnam said cooperation with American agricultural partners remains a key business priority. The company plans to continue expanding product availability through its nationwide distribution system and support stronger commercial relationships between the two countries.
