USDA strengthens team with strategic appointments

By Jamie Martin

The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of several key individuals to its senior staff in Washington, D.C., a strategic move to bolster the America First agenda championed by President. These appointments will play a critical role in advocating for the interests of the agricultural community across the nation.

Kailee Tkacz Buller, newly appointed as the USDA's Chief of Staff, brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in agriculture-related associations and her service in the first administration. Preston Parry, now the Deputy Chief of Staff, carries forward his strategic acumen from the America First Policy Institute.

Further strengthening the team, Jennifer Tiller takes up her role as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary and Senior Advisor, focusing on food, nutrition, and consumer services.

Ralph Linden, with decades of service at the USDA, assumes the position of Principal Deputy General Counsel, providing robust legal guidance.

In communications, Audra Weeks is appointed Deputy Director, bringing her experience from political campaigns and sector-specific crisis management.

Finally, Dominic Restuccia’s appointment as White House Liaison will enhance the department's interactions with other federal entities, drawing on his legislative background.

These strategic appointments underscore the USDA’s commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability while addressing the evolving challenges faced by America’s farmers and agricultural sectors.
